Adolescence: Like "Rock-Em, Sock-Em Robots"

I googled "Adolescence" so I didn't spell it wrong, so now I'm looking at the definition on my phone. It's based on Latin (like most cool words are) and it means "to grow up." I've seen my sixth grader do some of this lately (entering middle school, realize girls are on the planet, etc.) and it hit me one day - It's just like the old "Rock-Em, Sock-Em Robots" game! There is the little plastic blue guy, and the little plastic red guy, and they basically beat the tar out of each other while being rooted in one place.
